Jiaoyan's paper on photophysical properties of allenes is accepted

Thanks to a great collaboration with Minjung Son in Boston, we gained valuable insights on the mechanism and properties of our allene-allylic cation system. Part of this work was entirely done by undergrads, who are ever present in our lab. Thanks to NSF for supporting this research (NSF CAREER 2541093) Photophysical properties of a highly delocalized allylic cation: acid-independent and solvent-dependent intramolecular charge transfer | Materials Advances | The Royal Society

Wes Chalifoux visits Wake

Nobody gives a talk on engineered graphene nanostructures quite like Wes Chalifoux. Cool science, great chemistry, and a great hang afterwards.

We welcome applications from passionate students interested in our research
